Snapchat Now Watermarks AI-generated Images

Snapchat watermark preview

Snapchat started integrating generative AI features well before any other social media platform. The app introduced several new features like the My AI chatbot, AI Dreams, Extend Snaps, and AI Snaps feature. This also lets users create almost realistic images that can be used to spread misinformation on the platform. To remedy this issue, Snapchat is adding watermarks to AI-generated images on the app.

As mentioned on Snapchat’s support page, these watermarks will appear as the Snapchat ghost with a few sparkles. This watermark will appear when the user exports an image generated with AI features like AI Snap and Dreams. However, it is unclear whether this will be the case with other AI features. Like, Extend Snaps that alter an original image with the help of AI.

You can see from the screenshot above how the watermark will look in a picture created with AI in Snapchat. This measure aims to inform users of the image’s artificial origin, promoting transparency and preventing the spread of misinformation.

Some other platforms, like Meta AI, are also adding watermarks as the chances of misinformation spreading through these images are quite high. We have already seen some cases where people caused a frenzy on social media with AI-altered photos.

The introduction of watermarks was a much-needed precaution, as you can get true-to-life images with the correct prompt. I would have preferred the app to keep the watermark on the image even when it was not exported. Users don’t need to leave the app to create images that can be used to spread misinformation. They can do it by creating a story or a Snap within the app and sharing it in their network.

As the use of generative AI grows in social media apps, the need for such measures and precautions becomes increasingly necessary. What are your thoughts about the addition of watermarks in Snapchat? Do let us know in the comments.

5 Major Problems with Modern Day Anime

problems with modern anime

If you take a look at the OG anime in the 2000s, you will realize we have come a long way with the quality of anime being produced. I’m not just talking about the animation quality, but all the major aspects, including storytelling, soundtracks, voice acting, sound design, etc., have seen a significant improvement. Thanks to the ever-growing anime community, studios will continue to raise the roof. However, there are some major problems with modern anime releases that fans often overlook. So, today, let’s take a look at five major flaws that are holding back the anime industry.

5. Anime Industry’s Production Crunch Is Real

There is a never-ending problem that has been ongoing in the anime industry for a long time that many fans might have become aware of during Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2‘s release. Ever wondered why your favorite anime is delayed sometimes or why its animation quality gets butchered?

It’s often a result of animators being overworked and underpaid, which results in a major loss of quality in anime production. As mentioned above, a recent example of this case is the MAPPA Studios controversy regarding the production of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. Various animators who have worked with them made a statement to the public about the aforementioned issue and even talked about how they could have delivered a better end product if not for the studios’ poor work culture.

I mean, you can notice the difference in animation quality in the Sukuna vs Mahoraga fight, which had half-baked animation when it aired and was finished for the Blu-ray release. Moreover, we’ve seen several animators exit studios with poor work culture to either start their own studios or join studios with better environments.

This problem also extends to the distribution side, where it results in future projects getting delayed due to poor planning and scheduling issues. A great example of this is the anime releases such as Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, Attack on Titan’s final season, and more. We all know how excruciating it was to witness and hope the industry puts an end to this.

4. The Curse of Rushed Anime Adaptations

Be it manga fans or anime-only fans, rushed adaptations are a BIG NO! They are even worse than poorly animated episodes. I mean, the production studios understand our sentiments and exactly know what we want from the anime adaptations of our favorite manga yet continue to butcher the source material. If you wonder why this happens, it basically boils down to factors such as budget constraints, time limitations, or inexperienced staff.

Along with these factors, the production crunch also plays a pivotal role in this matter. So, all these problems converge into one bigger mess that results in the studios condensing the source material and rushing through the adaptation.

A lot of rushed adaptations of famous manga or manhwa butchered the experience and made fans extremely unhappy. Some key examples here would include The Promised Neverland, The God of High School, Noblesse, Tokyo Ghoul: re, etc.

3. We Need to Talk About Fan Service Fatigue

Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Chopper in One Piece anime
Image Courtesy: One Piece by Toei Animation (X/@OnePieceAnime)

In general, fan service moments are essentially extra parts added to the content to amuse and satisfy the fans. However, in the anime industry, this general form of fan service doesn’t exist anymore as it has evolved into sexualizing the characters. While it was primarily done to engage the fanbase, it has since evolved into something different and has been widely adopted in modern anime. Many studios today go overboard with fan service and ultimately ruin the experience/ character these days.

In my recent post, I mentioned the things that WIT Studio needs to keep in mind while making the One Piece remake, and one of the points definitely is the gratuitous sexualization of the characters. The unnecessary fan service has started to get more hate than love from fans and needs to be toned down in the future.

I mean, we all get that it can’t be eradicated completely, and I don’t want them to go away either as some of the scenes do take place in the source material. But they often tend to be exaggerated which results in an unpleasant experience for the fans. Food Wards, Fire Force, One Piece, Darling In The Franxx, and many more anime are victims of these fan services.

2. Anime Originals Struggle to Find the Spark

Reki in SK∞ the anime.
Image Courtesy: SK∞ by Bones (X/@sk8_project)

There are many anime such as Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Samurai Champloo, and FLCL, among others that are not adaptations of manga or light novels. These anime originals captivated fans with their special experiences and, as a result, became some of the highest-rated anime in history.

While anime studios were able to achieve this stupendous feat back in the 2000s and 2010s, studios are struggling to deliver the same magic with anime originals being released today.

Don’t get me wrong, many anime originals that came out recently such as Sk8 the Infinity, Lycoris Recoil, Link Click, Buddy Daddies, and others were good. Nevertheless, they aren’t in the league of the originals that came out decades ago. Thus, we are yearning for renowned studios to experiment with genres and characters to deliver astounding anime originals that will be talked about for years to come.

1. Stuck in a Cycle of Rehashed Tropes

Tanjiro in Demon Slayer anime.
Image Courtesy: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Ufotable Studios (X/@DemonSlayerUSA)

The biggest crisis that is haunting the anime industry right now is the recycled tropes, monotonous stories, and cliche main characters. The majority of the anime released these days tend to rehash the same old plotline and character arcs.

Of course, based on their target demography, the anime needs to have some popular tropes such as Shonen protagonists having training arcs, emphasizing friendship, etc. However, in my opinion, the stories and characters need a massive reboot, which can be done together with the respective tropes of their type.

At the end of the day, we want an exhilarating experience instead of the bland and repetitive anime with upscaled production quality, right? Modern anime such as Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and Black Clover among others, suffer from this issue.

Furthermore, we also got refreshing modern anime such as Chainsaw Man, Mob Psycho 100, Hell’s Paradise, etc. These shows brought a unique experience to the table, which is what we expect from more upcoming anime.

I hope the points I made are loud and clear as well as appeal reasonably to anime fans reading this. I believe all these issues can be eliminated over time with necessary measures taken in due time. That said, if you feel I’ve missed out on any major issues that the anime industry needs to address, share with me your opinions in the comments below.

15 Best Phantom Skins in Valorant (Ranked)

Best Phantom Skins in Valorant cover

Ever since Valorant has existed, players have spent hours about hours debating between the Vandakl and the Phantom. Although most professional players talk about the latter being better for all types of players, this debate is another story. However, no matter which weapon you prefer, I am confident you would be looking to spice it up with skins. After showing you the best Vandal skins, today I turn my focus to the ever-reliant Phantom and its best skins. All these skins are fun to play with and look super cool. So, if you want to amp up your Phantom experience in Valorant, then keep reading.

Note:

This ranked Phantom skin tier list is in a descending order based on the price, quality, and overall feel of the skin in the game.

15. Ruination Phantom

Ruination Phantom
  • Original Price: 2175 VP
  • Rarity: Exclusive Edition
  • Variants: Purple, Red/Yellow, Green

Ruination was my favorite Phantom skin until I used it in the game. This skin is great as a cosmetic, but the echo and ambient effects will make your audio miserable. Nonetheless, this Phantom skin has amazing animations that I feel you might like.

14. Chronovoid Phantom

Valorant Chronovoid Phantom
  • Original Price: 2175 VP
  • Rarity: Exclusive Edition
  • Variants: Purple, Red, Black

The ideal and inspect animations in the Chronovoid Phantom are clean and addictive. Unfortunately, the rest of the skin feels ordinary for the VP it demands. Nonetheless, the skin finisher is good despite not having the best audio effect for this Phantom Valorant skin. There are better alternatives if you are not just about the inspection animation.

13. Singularity Phantom

Singularity Phantom
  • Original Price: 2175 VP
  • Rarity: Exclusive Edition
  • Variants: Blue, Red, Purple

Similar to the audio part with the Ruination Phantom, Singularity is known for its great bullet effects and finisher. On top of it, the animations while shooting also give you an ASMR-like feeling. If you are all about that aesthetic feel, singularity is a great choice as your next Phantom skin.

12. BlastX Phantom Valorant

BlastX Phantom
  • Original Price: 2175 VP
  • Rarity: Exclusive Edition
  • Variants: Black, Yellow, Pink

BlastX Phantom is all about that goofiness. The gun feels like a toy gun with all the bullets and animations. The equipment animation also looks fun, as it feels like you are unwrapping a present. Moreover, the finisher is about packing your enemy in a gift box and shipping them away. While not the most serious, the BlastX skin will suit you if you like to be a bit silly.

11. Spectrum Phantom

Valorant Spectrum Phantom
  • Original Price: 2675 VP
  • Rarity: Exclusive Edition
  • Variants: Black, Red, Purple/ Pink

Everyone had mixed feelings when Zed collaborated with Riot Games and got us the Spectrum bundle. However, the more you use the Spectrum Phantom, the more you will fall in love with the skin’s color and music sync. The finisher is a DJ party within your Valorant lobby. Despite what it offers, however, I feel the price should have been lower for this skin.

10. Ion Phantom Valorant

Ion Phantom
  • Original Price: 1775 VP
  • Rarity: Premium Edition
  • Variants: N/A

A question always appears in the Valorant community: “Is Ion Phantom still worth buying?” If you are a fan of the original designs of the Valorant skins and want to taste a bit of sci-fi, the Ion Phantom is for you.

Although the audio might annoy you at times, the overall feel of this skin is still one of the best. However, the Ion Phantom had no variants, so that might make you not go for it.

9. Prime 2.0 Phantom

Valorant Prime 2.0 Phantom
  • Original Price: 1775 VP
  • Rarity: Premium Edition
  • Variants: Gold, Green, Orange

While the Prime Vandal stays in the top three of the Vandals list, the Phantom sadly lacks in every aspect. As a Phantom skin, it is decent, but the similarity to its Vandal counterpart bothers players, especially when this skin came out as a Prime 2.0 bundle. While you can still get it for its gold scheme, there are better options out there.

8. RGX 11Z Pro Phantom

Valorant RGX 11Z Pro Phantom
  • Original Price: 2175 VP
  • Rarity: Exclusive Edition
  • Variants: Red, Blue, Yellow

RGX is the perfect skin line for all gamers in general. The lighting and kill effects will somehow take you back to the RBG effects of your PC. Furthermore, this Phantom skin looks clean and feels premium to shoot. For all those reasons and more, it deserves to be on this spot.

7. Primordium Phantom

Primordium phantom skin
  • Original Price: 2175 VP
  • Rarity: Exclusive Edition
  • Variants: Venom, Cobalt, Gold

Primordium is one of the newest additions to the Phantom skins list in Valorant. While the skin resembles Elderflame and Prelude to Chaos, you cannot deny its effects and sound design. However, the finisher of this skin alone can put it inside the top 1o list.

6. Radiant Entertainment System Phantom

RES Valorant Phantom
  • Original Price: 2975 VP
  • Rarity: Ultra Edition
  • Variants: Dance Fever, K.nock O.ut!!

If you love retro games, Radiant Entertainment System Phantom will give you all that nostalgia within Valorant. The skin reeks of arcade machine vibes with every bullet, kill, animation, or audio. Even the finisher looks over the top with an arcade simulation that looks super cool. While the price may be a bit high, it’s still worth it to many to make this one of the best Phantom skins in Valorant.

5. Glitchpop 2.0 Phantom

Glitchpop phantom
  • Original Price: 2175 VP
  • Rarity: Exclusive Edition
  • Variants: Blue, Red, Gold

If you read our Vandal skins list, you know how much I love the Glitchpop lineup. Although the Phantom could not see it in the same spot as its Vandal counterpart, it is still great. So, if you are all about that glitchy sci-fi feel, this Phantom skin is definitely for you. However, I won’t blame you if you find it a bit too much!

4. Protocol 781-A Phantom

Protocol 781-A
  • Original Price: 2475 VP
  • Rarity: Ultra Edition
  • Variants: White/Pink, Red/Blue, Green

The same as RES Phantom, Protocol 781-A could also be at least in the top two if it were not too expensive. If we forget about the price, the Protocol has great voice lines for every kill and inspect button. The kill animation and finisher also feel premium.

3. Valorant Champions 2022 Phantom

Valorant Champions 2022 Phantom
  • Original Price: 2675 VP
  • Rarity: Exclusive Edition
  • Variants: N/A

After a lackluster Valorant Champions 2021 Vandal, the lineup had to come with a better skin. Thankfully, they did deliver. The Champions 2022 Phantom is by far the cleanest Champions lineup skin. It feels premium overall and is perfect for the pitch-perfect aimers who use the best Valorant crosshairs and lead the lobbies.

2. Valorant Oni Phantom

Oni Phantom
  • Original Price: 1775 VP
  • Rarity: Premium Edition
  • Variants: Kumo, Hana, Tsubame

The Oni somehow manages to be a pristine, clean skin when it comes to the overall art and bullet impact animations. However, the finisher feels slightly lackluster. Overall, the Oni is the ideal Phantom skin if you do not want any kind of unwanted disturbance while spraying enemies down. Take my tip, use the golden one, and feel like a king.

1. Recon Phantom Valorant

Recon Phantom
  • Original Price: 1775 VP
  • Rarity: Premium Edition
  • Variants: Red camo, Blue camo, Green camo

There is almost little to no argument when it comes to the best Phantom skin in Valorant. The Recon is perfect in all aspects. It is almost as simple as Oni but comes with a handle animation, making it look more accurate.

Well, Riot claims the skins are not pay-to-win, but are they? Recon Phantom is the best, with simple animations, a clean design, and a great finisher. So, if you got the VP, get this skin right away.

That concludes our best Phantom skins list for Valorant. Do you agree with the list? Which skin is your favorite in the game? Tell us in the comments below.

Genshin Impact 4.7 Leak Hints Dainsleif Interlude Quest Is Coming Soon

Dainsleif Interlude Quest Leaked for Genshin 4.7

After a lackluster update in Genshin Impact version 4.5, both the 4.6 and the 4.7 versions are setting up to be big updates. Genshin’s 4.6 version will release Arlecchino while expanding on her backstory, and version 4.7 will have three new characters. Thankfully, the 4.7 Genshin version appears to be even bigger than previously assumed. The latest leaks via Foul reveal that we are finally getting the next Dainsleaf Interlude quest in Genshin Impact version 4.7.

The last Dainsleif quest was Caribert, released as the finale of the Sumeru Archon quest and it revealed surprising new information about the Abyss Order. The Caribert quest revealed information on the origins of the Khaenria’ah. We learned that Kaeya is a descendant of the Alberich, who was the founder of the Abyss Order. The quest also reveals the story of Caribert, a Hillychurl, who is the illegitimate son of Chlothar and half Khaenri’ahn and half Mondstadt.

The story also showed that all of Khaenri’ah was cursed, the true-blooded Khaenri’ahns became immortal and the others became Hillychurls. It is also suggested that Kaeya can be Caribert and his interaction with the Abyss Order pushed him to his humanity side. However, the last part is only a theory and not official.

We can expect the next Dainsleif quest to delve into the Khaenri’ah ruins, which are supposed to be located between Sumeru and Fontaine. With each update slowly filling the big space, we guessed the next Dainsleif quest to explore the Khaenri’ahn ruins. So, what do you think about the next Dainsleif quest? Do you think Dainsleif will finally be a playable character soon? Tell us in the comment section below.

Solo Leveling: Who are the Monarchs?

Monarchs from Solo Leveling

Solo Leveling was one of the most exciting new shows that ended just ahead of the ongoing Spring 2024 anime cycle. There’s no denying that it has already surpassed our expectations with its unique narrative. However, not many anime fans are aware that everything in the Solo Leveling universe started when nothing existed except for light and darkness. That’s when the Absolute Being created the Rulers and Monarchs. While the former held the responsibility to protect humanity, the latter wished to wipe out the entire human race. Well, if you want to know who Monarchs exactly are, let’s dig deeper to find out.

Spoiler Warning

This article contains information from the source material. So, we highly suggest you read the manhwa beforehand to avoid ruining your intended experience.

The Origins of Monarchs Explained

A still from Solo Leveling Manhwa

Light and Darkness were the two pre-historic forces that were split by the Absolute Being in order to bring the Rulers and the Monarchs into the frame. The Rulers were the good guys who were created to save humankind, while Monarchs came out of darkness with the intention to cause destruction.

Monarchs are powerful beings that do not have the freedom to enter the human world in their true form. That being said, they can certainly take humans as their hosts, like Jujutsu Kaisen’s Sukuna. Even though a Monarch is a formidable entity in its spiritual form, possessing a human allows it to become more powerful physically. However, as humans are mortal beings, they possess their own set of weaknesses.

Each Monarch boasts unique abilities that make them stronger than the robust S-Rank Hunters in Solo Leveling. Apart from that, every Monarch has an army that serves as their backup during the deadliest combats.

Role of the Shadow Monarch

When the eternal enmity between Rulers and Monarchs started, the former race requested the Absolute Being to bless them with more powers. They wanted to end the battle once and for all.

However, the Absolute Being was an entity with a God complex, so he decided not to take them seriously. Also, he wanted the war to continue for eternity, so he never really favored any side. Ashborn knew about this, but he still followed the Absolute Being without question because of his undying loyalty.

Realizing the Absolute Being’s selfish motives, Rulers killed him and ceased one of the Monarchs named Legia. That’s when Shadow Monarch, aka Ashborn (then a Ruler), decided to go against his own race and help the Monarchs for the sake of the Absolute Being’s unfulfilled wish, which was to keep the war last for eternity.

When Ashborn lent a helping hand to the Monarchs, they had to take him as an ally as they didn’t have any better option. Ashborn’s dominant powers made two Monarchs, Rakan and Baran, break the chain and attack him with their armies. Even though Ashborn killed Baran and overwhelmed Rakan with his powers, he couldn’t save his army.

As Ashborn’s army was destroyed, he decided to go on hiding for some time and come back to the battlefield after reviving the lost army. Meanwhile, with Ashborn gone, Monarchs ended up losing the battle against the Rulers and fled from the cracks of the World.

The Endless War Reaches Earth

After being humiliated by the Rulers, the Monarchs decided to revamp their armies after several centuries. Their possession of the humans started when Rakan sensed the presence of his former enemy, the Shadow Monarch, on Jeju Island. So, when Rakan went digging for more information, he came across the Frost Monarch, who revealed the same thing to him. The duo then decided to continue the war that was left unfinished centuries ago.

Around this time, Rulers sent Legia (the Monarch they held captive) to Earth, who was killed by Jinwoo after the Jeju Island arc (one of the best Solo Leveling arcs). The Monarchs then decided to enter the human world in search of the Rulers. The battle began with the murder of Christopher Reed, who was not only one of America’s potent hunters but also the host of one of the Rulers.

After killing the US-based hunter, the Monarchs abducted and murdered the S-Ranked Brazilian hunter, Jonas when he was about to attend the International Guild Conference. These killings raised the Monarchs’ confidence, and they started looking for the Rulers with more determination.

However, with time, they realized that in the human world, Sung Jinwoo was the biggest threat to them as he was the vessel of the mightiest Ashborn.

List of the Monarchs in Solo Leveling

Here’s the list that will help you get a better picture of every Monarch in the Solo Leveling Universe:

MonarchType
AshbornThe Monarch of Shadows
YogumuntThe Monarch of Transfiguration
TarnakThe Monarch of the Iron Body
AntaresThe Monarch of Destruction
RakanThe Monarch of Fangs
HochwanThe Monarch of Frost
QuerehshaThe Monarch of Plagues
BaranThe Monarch of White Flames
LegiaThe Monarch of the Beginning

So yeah, that’s pretty much everything you need to know about the Monarchs that will be joining Jinwoo in the Solo Leveling universe in the coming season.

NYT Strands Hints, Spangram, and Answers for April 18, 2024

I think the ‘sew’ in the theme was enough to lead me straight to finding CLOTH and THREAD on the grids. A couple more seconds into the game and I found PATCH in the bottom left corner. In the bottom right, I found STITCH and right above it ran NEEDLE.

Towards the top left, there was SEAM running vertically. Solving these couple of words gave me TAILORING as the Spangram for the day. The last couple of grids were home to THIMBLE, and that concluded today’s round.

No hints used, but for how long can we keep this up? Let’s see. What about you? Did you have to use any hints or was the game easy enough for you too? Let me know in the comments down below!

Even a Mouse Now Has an AI Button, Thanks to Logitech

Logitech Prompt Builder

When I first began covering AI at Beebom, I had little idea it would grow so big and be integrated into everyday products. While ChatGPT kickstarted the consumer AI revolution, products such as the Humane AI Pin and rabbitAI have made AI into something much more. Just when I was barely getting used to the idea of Microsoft adding a dedicated Copilot Key to Windows laptops, we got something new. Now it seems even peripherals aren’t safe, thanks to Logitech.

You heard that correctly: Logitech is coming out with a mouse that packs a dedicated AI button. That’s right, the new Logitech M750 Signature AI Edition has a button you can press to launch the new Logitech Prompt Builder, a new free app found in the company’s Logi Options + app.

While the mouse itself is kind of special with an AI key, the Logitech Prompt Builder is the real deal.

The Power of ChatGPT in the Palm of My Hand

As much as I love using AI as the next person, I hate opening a fresh browser tab for ChatGPT every time I need to look something up. Logitech’s Prompt Builder eliminates this hassle altogether.

After a quick download, I only needed to assign a mouse key to the shortcut, and there I was. Yeah, getting the mouse with the dedicated AI button isn’t essential. Use your existing Logitech mouse to get ChatGPY in the palm of your hand.

The app acts as a chatbot interface for the ever-popular ChatGPT chatbot. It does that by opening a neat pop-up window that you can use to talk with the bot and do so much more. All I needed to do was select the text and Prompt Builder auto-pasted it! But that’s not what this is about.

  • Logitech Prompt Rephrase
  • Even a Mouse Now Has an AI Button, Thanks to Logitech

Besides calling upon the friendly AI bot, Prompt Builder comes with Recipes. These are essentially pre-set prompts you can feed to ChatGPT along with your text. I had my fair share of fun with the four recipes, which let me rephrase paragraphs, rewrite them, create and reply to emails, and even create bullet points.

Even a Mouse Now Has an AI Button, Thanks to Logitech

To let creativity flow, the app also comes with the option to create custom recipes that will take your prompt, input, and parameters so you can talk to ChatGPT. While some folks out there had a problem with opening the Prompt Builder on their systems, I thankfully had no such issues on my MacBook. That naturally resulted in me opening ChatGPT much more in an hour than I had in the last year alone!

Hold Up, Do We Need This (Hardware Innovation) Though?

I’ll be honest with you. AI, for me, holds a decent amount of value. While I do appreciate having chatbots instruct me on the best ways to write (I could use some tips), I’m also a big proponent of human creativity. Yes, I know this argument is as old as time. And while Logitech’s Prompt Builder does bring AI quite literally to our fingertips, I can’t help but feel it’s a bit too much.

Of course, that won’t stop them, as the new M750 AI Edition is already out and retailing for $49. While you can get it right now, you can try your luck with the Logitech Prompt Builder if you have a compatible mouse. The company hasn’t released a full list of compatible mice, but it works perfectly fine on my Logi M337.

As we inch closer to Microsoft’s Surface event in May, promised to unveil the first Snapdragon X Elite laptop, new leaks have started appearing from different OEMs. An X user has leaked the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 2024 laptop that would pack the much-anticipated Snapdragon X Elite processor.

The leaked images show that the Snapdragon X Elite laptop is quite lightweight and thin, as expected from Lenovo’s Yoga Slim series. The laptop also sports a Copilot key to access the AI chatbot instantly on Windows 11. Microsoft has said that “AI PCs” will come with a dedicated Copilot key in the future. Besides that, the signature Bloom wallpaper of Windows 11 is also seen in a different gradient.

Keep in mind, the internal specs of the laptop are not known as of now. However, it’s quite interesting to see that major laptop makers are ready to launch laptops with the Snapdragon X Elite processor in June 2024. We recently spotted the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge on Geekbench which is said to come with the SD X Elite chipset.

Lenovo ThinkPad T14s with Snapdragon X Elite also leaked online.

There are two more Geekbench listings for a Lenovo laptop (LENOVO 4810UV0100) running the SD X Elite processor, but we can’t confirm whether it’s the same Yoga Slim 7 laptop. However, its single-core score is 2,427, and the multi-core score is 14,254 which is quite impressive. It means that the new ARM-based Windows laptops would be able to compete with the latest Apple MacBooks.

Now, we need to wait and see what Microsoft unveils on May 20. Rumors suggest that Microsoft will launch the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 with the SD X Elite chipset for consumers. There will be no Intel-based Surface laptops for consumers this time which is quite surprising.

So are you excited about Snapdragon X Elite-powered laptops launching in the coming months? Let us know in the comment section below.
