The biggest announcement at the ‘Unleashed’ hardware event was the all-new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with the powerful M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. Apple has given its MacBook Pro lineup a much-needed redesign. The new models are boxier, include a 120Hz ProMotion display with a notch, and a plethora of ports as opposed to just USB-C ports.

Now, on stage at the launch, Apple only announced the US pricing of the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, starting at $1,899 and $2,499 respectively. However, merely minutes after the event ended, the India pricing of the new MacBook Pro models with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips has gone live. 14-inch MacBook Pro

  • M1 Pro, 8-core CPU, 14-core GPU, 16 RAM, 512GB SSD – Rs. 1,94,900
  • M1 Pro, 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 16 RAM, 1TB SSD – Rs. 2,39,900

16-inch MacBook Pro

  • M1 Pro, 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 16 RAM, 512GB SSD – Rs. 2,39,900
  • M1 Pro, 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 16 RAM, 1TB SSD – Rs. 2,59,900
  • M1 Max, 10-core CPU, 32-core GPU, 32 RAM, 1TB SSD – Rs. 3,29,900

So yeah, as you can see, the latest MacBook Pro models start at just under Rs. 2 lakh in India and go all the way up to Rs. 3.3 lakh for the M1 Max-backed 16-inch MacBook Pro. These models are currently up for pre-order and will be generally available to buy from October 26. The 13.3-inch M1 MacBook Pro starts at Rs. 1,09,900 on Flipkart in India if you want to go for a cheaper and less powerful alternative.

    Really worst product…suggesting to do not buy… purchased A2338 model on august and facing display issue, the display is too sensitive, it will not hold small mustard size pressures, company will not claim physical damage waranty…also extended display getting problem when its connect to extended monitor…
